Poems for Teachers #6: Winter Weather

Winter Weather by Brenda Williams

Foggy day

We can’t see

Hold on tight

Follow me!

Diamonds on

The window pane

Splashy walks

In the rain

Hail falling

Hard and white

Stay inside

Hail can bite!

Skiddy roads

Ice in sheets

Slippery steps

Frozen feet

Silent world

Soft and white

Snow has fallen

In the night

‘Winter Weather’ has been taken from Fun with Action Rhymes and Poems by Brenda Williams and published by Brilliant Publications.

Why not write your own poems about the nice side of winter weather, building a snowman etc.?
