Word of the Day #16: Parallelogram





Word of the Day is designed to help children learn how to use a dictionary, whilst simultaneously expanding their vocabulary. Today’s Word of the Day begins with the letter ‘P’. The word is ‘Parallelogram’.parallelogram n. Four-sided rectilineal figure whose opposite sides are parallel; ~ of forces, theorem that if two forces acting at a point be represented in magnitude and direction by two sides of a parallelogram, their resultant is represented by a diagonal drawn from that point.
