Creative Activity of the Day #16 – Make a Lighthouse

Today’s Creative Activity involves completing an electrical circuit that will make a bulb light in a lighthouse. Pupils are then challenged to make the bulb flash on and off.

This activity is drawn from How to be Brilliant at Electricity, Light and Sound which contains 40 photocopiable sheets for use with 7-11 year olds. The practical activities help children to acquire knowledge and understanding of electrical circuits, the everyday effects of light and how we see, and how sounds are made.
