One of your five a day just got a modern look

Have you heard about the brightly coloured cauliflowers now on sale?

Cauliflowers now come in green, pink and yellow. Fortunately, our sons eat a range of vegetables but we have catered for children who don’t – quite a challenge as I’m sure many of you know. These coloured cauliflowers would cheer up any meal and hopefully entice children to try them.

Which one of your five a day will you count them as though? When my sons were learning about their five-a-day at school, a few years ago now, it wasn’t just portions of fruit and vegetables but also the colours that were important!

Why not try one of the recipes from our Healthy Cooking series of books? There is a sample recipe available from our website for each book. You could even try substituting colourful cauliflower into some recipes.
