Sing the German alphabet: free German teaching resource

So, now your children know that the alphabet is pronounced differently in different languages, and have mastered it in French, why not learn a song to reinforce the German alphabet?

You will find the words of Das Alphabet, and a recording of the song to listen to, on our Free Resources for German, just choose a Key Stage.

This song is taken from Singt mit Uns! a collection of 20 easy-to-learn songs, specifically written to aid in the teaching of German in the primary school and at lower secondary school. The songs are an enjoyable, natural and stress-free way to learn the rhythm of language, intonation and pronunciation, as well as to embed complex structures, such as questions and answers.
