World Maths Day, 7th March 2012

What better way to motivate children to do maths than for them to be able to see how they are doing compared to children elsewhere in the world?

The World Maths Day website opened on 1st February. You can start practising as soon as you have registered but remember, all points will be refreshed ready for the start of World Maths Day on 7 March 2012.

Why should you take part?

  • World Maths Day is a global education event
  • be part of setting a world record
  • it will create an amazing buzz around Maths
  • designed for all ages and ability levels
  • simple to register and participate
  • great prizes – and it’s absolutely free!

If your children are finding any part of the maths on the website challenging we have a range of books that will help them gain more confidence in their own maths ability so they can increase their score to aim for those great prizes!
