Spanish story to teach saying how old you are

In Tengo seis años, Luis and Sofía are at the swimming pool. Sofía introduces herself to Marta and they find out how old they both are. As with many siblings, Sofía is not happy when her older brother tries to join in the conversation!

The story is told via speech bubbles and is a fabulous way of teaching children to say how old they are.

As with all Luis y Sofía stories, there’s a twist at the end. Barbara Scanes, the author, says that she used her own children (who are now in their 20s!) as role models when thinking of what Luis and Sofía would do.
